The National Pilates Certification Program Launches Online Certification Exam

May 20, 2020

The National Pilates Certification Program now offers online proctored testing from the comfort of your home or office.

Process
Go to the NPCP online application here.

Once you've completed your application and scheduled your exam date and time, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to access the online examination along with computer system requirements.

System requirements
Prior to your exam date, we urge you to utilize PSI's compatibility check tool to verify that your computer's software is up to date. A link to the compatibility check tool will be provided in your confirmation email from PSI. Please note that a built-in or external webcam and microphone is necessary to take this exam as well the technical requirements outlined in the Candidate Handbook here.

Taking the exam
On the day of your exam, you will log in to your test session 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Once logged in, you will be greeted virtually by a proctor. The proctor will begin the check-in process by asking you to scan the room and yourself with your webcam and then you will be asked to present your government-issued photo ID for verification.

When the check-in process is complete, the exam will be provided in a secure browser. Should you have any questions during the test session, the proctor will be able to assist you via live chat.

Note: Candidates are allowed to bring a direct translation dictionary to the testing site.

The NPCP’s aim is that this new option will allow candidates to take their exam with greater convenience, safety and security.
