PMA MEMBERSHIP

PMA membership is open to any individual wishing to:

• enhance their study and practice of Pilates
• keep abreast of developments and trends in the Pilates world
• receive information on the PMA’s activities and events
• support the PMA’s efforts to professionalize and unify the Pilates industry
• receive the membership benefits outlined below

We have two membership catagories:

Student Member
Individual Member

Student Member - $50 per year

A Student Member is one who is currently registered in a degree granting program at an accredited or equivalent school, college/university, or a Pilates training program, and wishes to receive PMA Student membership benefits. Student members shall not have voting privileges and cannot hold elected or appointed offices in the PMA.

• 15% discount off the PMA Pilates certification exam / Save $44.25

Individual Member - $150 per year

An Individual Member is anyone who is interested in the study and practice of Pilates, who supports the objectives of the Alliance, who is willing to contribute to the achievement of the organization’s aims and objectives, and who wishes to receive PMA Individual membership benefits. Individual members shall have voting privileges, and are eligible to hold elected and appointed offices in the PMA.

• Eligibility for PMA professional liability and/or studio insurance ($170 yearly)
• Use of PMA membership logo for marketing purposes
