Individual Members
All individual members have met the PMA requirements for membership. Individual members may be Pilates instructors, PMA Certified Pilates Teachers, or Pilates business owners or enthusiasts. If you are looking for a Pilates teacher you may use this search and inquire of each member about their Pilates education. You may also find the following information helpful to determine the best Pilates instructor to meet your needs.

  • How many years has the instructor been involved with and or teaching Pilates?
  • Does the instructor or teacher have other movement related teaching experience, such as dance, fitness, medical or somatic?
  • Did the Pilates instructor or teacher attend a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program? Comprehensively Training Programs consists of a minimum  of 450 hours which include e.g., lecture, anatomy, self practice, assistant teaching, and observation hours.

PMA Approved CEC Providers
The PMA provides a listing for all individuals and/or business who have applied for, met the criteria and been approved to be Continuing Education Providers. PMA Certified Pilates Teachers must maintain 16 hours of PMA Approved Continuing Education coursework every two years to maintain their status as a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher.
